Weather watching

We are waiting for a weather window to leave France. It seems we are in good company… the 2022 Route du Rhum fleet delayed the start of their race on account of some pretty appalling weather to the west of the Bay of Biscay.

For now though - it looks like there may be a window opening up in the second half of this week for the Artemis to set off. The initial leg of the trip from France will take Artemis south west across the Bay of Biscay towards Cape Finisterre and then southbound down the coast of Portugal to a first stop in Cascais for an engine service and oil change.

Will keep updating this blog as Artemis sets off, and as she makes progress on her voyage.
