It's been a while...
Its been a while since I posted. Artemis is doing well. So far she has hosted several charter groups and I understand that they have all enjoyed their trips and the boat is being well looked after by the team at TMM.
With the exception of a 10 day period at the start of July Artemis is pretty much booked up to the end of the season in August. At that point the islands quieten down, a lot of places close, and most boats and charter companies shut for at least a month to allow ‘out of the water maintenance’ to take place. September is also the approximate peak of the Atlantic storm season, so there is little point in vacation facilities remaining open.
The season reopens again around mid October - for the remainder of the year into the next year.
For our part we are next planning a visit to Artemis in the week before Christmas. We will be sailing with family, including some parents who haven’t visited the BVI before, and haven’t sailed with us. It’ll be fun to show them the beauty of the islands, and the peace of a BVI sailing week.
Contact us when you are thinking of making a booking. Planning early is key as we already have a few bookings each month for most of the next season. April is looking the most open right now, so if you are UK based, and looking for something to do in the 2024 Easter school holidays you know who to call!
Enjoy the start of the summer, and smooth sailing!
